Dr Uyen Koh is currently the Project Coordinator, for the Centre of Research Excellence for the Study of Naevi Core Study (also known as Mind Your Moles) as well as the associated QUT led projects on Redesigning Skin Cancer Early Detection and Care using Mobile Teledermoscopy.
Uyen graduated with a Bachelor of Pharmacy (Honours I) degree from the University of Queensland in 2010. She was recently awarded a PhD in clinical pharmacy, which involved conducting a randomised controlled trial of a targeted and tailored intervention to improve medication adherence in patients with chronic disease. Before working at the Queensland University of Technology, Uyen taught in a number of courses, such as clinical pharmacy and pharmaceutical calculations at the University of Queensland and worked as a clinical hospital pharmacist at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital. Uyen's current research interests are broad, but with the aim to improve health outcomes.
